Acknowledgement of Risk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The guest acknowledges that staying at the Lodge involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, power interruptions, and use of common areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Assumption of Risk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The guest voluntarily assumes all risks associated with their stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Indemnification<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The guest indemnifies and holds harmless LA D DA Lodge, its owners, employees, and agents against any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Injury or death<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Loss or damage to property<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acts or omissions of the guest or their visitors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Except where caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. <strong>Security, Property &amp; Settlement<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Security and Settlement Rights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The guest acknowledges and agrees that LA D DA Lodge may retain any security deposits, prepaid amounts, or guest property lawfully held, as partial or full settlement of any claims arising from the guest\u2019s stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Such claims may include, but are not limited to, damage to property, unpaid accommodation charges, additional services rendered, or losses caused by the guest or their visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any retention shall be limited to the amount reasonably required to settle the claim and shall not apply where prohibited by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Damage, Loss &amp; Recovery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Guest agrees to indemnify La D Da Lodge against any loss, damage, or theft of Lodge property arising from the Guest\u2019s stay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This includes replacement or repair costs for stolen or damaged items, as well as any consequential losses suffered by the Lodge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Guest acknowledges that liability for damages is <strong>separate from and in addition to<\/strong> accommodation fees.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Personal Property<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Lodge is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings or vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Medical Emergencies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The guest remains responsible for all medical costs incurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Binding Nature<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This indemnity is binding on the guest and all persons under the booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Governing Law<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This agreement is governed by the laws of the <strong>Republic of South Africa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9.
